Growing up near the wooded trails of Eastern Pennsylvania's South Mountain, I was inspired to record my encounters with native birds, plants and wildlife in drawings and sketches.  Later, while pursuing a B.A. in Fine Arts at Cedar Crest College, I was introduced to printmaking and discovered the ideal means of exploring nature through art.
     Although my work is still inspired by wildlife, my subjects also now include architecture, landscapes, and the pets with whom I share my life.  And, although printmaking is still my primary medium, my work also now includes oil paints, pastels, and pen and ink drawings.
